A kitchen hood works as a system: canopy, filters, duct, exhaust fan, make-up air, controls, and interlocks all affect capture. We evaluate accessible mechanical and electrical conditions, identify what is limiting operation, and define any coordination needed with cleaning or fire-suppression providers. On serviceable equipment, we lubricate greaseable bearings, adjust or replace belts, replace failed motors, and correct confirmed mechanical or electrical faults. When severe wear, noise, or vibration makes component repair impractical, we can replace the complete exhaust fan.
