Walk-In Cooler & Freezer Evaporator Service
Evaporator repair and replacement for walk-ins with frost, failed fan motors, TXV feeding, drain, defrost, airflow, leak, or temperature problems.

Commercial Refrigeration
Built around the actual equipment.
The evaporator is where cooling performance becomes visible inside a walk-in. Ice patterns, fan behavior, drain condition, sensors, defrost components, and airflow offer important clues. We connect those observations with the outdoor or remote equipment before defining the repair. We replace failed evaporator fan motors and faulty expansion valves when confirmed, and we can replace the complete evaporator assembly when severe corrosion, extensive deterioration, or multiple refrigerant leaks make local repair impractical.
When to request service
Problems worth investigating early
Ice builds across the coil, fan guards, ceiling, or drain pan
Box temperature rises even though equipment continues running
Evaporator fans stop, become noisy, or move little air
TXV feeding, repeated refrigerant leaks, corrosion, or defrost problems recur
Diagnostic scope
What we evaluate
- Coil condition, ice and leak pattern, fan motors, blades, shroud, and air-path review
- TXV feeding, superheat, temperature split, distributor, and connected-system observations where accessible
- Drain, pan, heater, sensor, timer or controller, and defrost checks
- Repair plan that may include fan-motor, expansion-valve, or complete evaporator replacement
